Feeding a healthy girl like me isn’t cheap. And Kate my English Springer Setter Sister likes to eat too. We help Dee by finding Dog food coupons on the Internet. What you don’t think we can use the Internet? We’re blogging and we have our own website, so yeah we cruise the World Wide Web.

Me and Kate will eat any kind of dog food but our two legged companions are kinda fussy about what they buy. They don’t like the stuff that has meat by products or yucky stuff. Those kinds of dog food they like for us costs more so any Dog food coupons help save money. When they save money they can buy treats, chewie bones, more treats and toys.

I like peanut butter bones. Yanno you put some peanut butter inside a bone. Katie likes them too. She likes the tomato crackers more. Dee makes those for us. They’re just whole wheat flour, tomato paste, canola oil and a little water.

For some reason I’m getting really really hungry. I gotta go check my bowl to see if there’s any leftover breakfast. Or maybe I’ll go into the closet and see if Brian left any treats in his jeans pockets.

We’ve been good girls, at least for the last twenty minutes.

Now for the really good stuff. I like pizza. I like cookies. I like pretzels and dip. Only I’m not supposed to have that stuff. Just healthy stuff. SOOO I have to steal the other stuff when my two legged companions aren’t looking.

You know who is black and white (and brown, she has three colors, like she’s always telling me, who needs three colors when you have red, anyways)? It’s Kate, the English Springer Spaniel. I don’t know what that puppy girl does to get her fur all over the place. Dee, my two legged companion has to use a neat dog hair vacuum to clean it all up.

Kate gets a bath and gets brushed and brushed, but she still gets her fur all over. I get brushed too, I like that but I don’t like the bath. I have to be in this little tiny room and the floor is slippery and I can hardly turn around. Dee says it’s called a bathtub. I don’t care what you call it I don’t like it.

Kate gets a bath more often because she’s little and closer to the ground so she gets dirty faster. Not me. I’m a big girl. I don’t get as dirty. But when Kate gets a bath it reminds Dee I should get one too. After I get finished with the bath I chase Kate around the house cause if she didn’t get so dirty then I wouldn’t have to get a bath.

I have a comfy bed and I get to sleep on the chairs, sofa, and bed if I want. I don’t have to work, but me and Rose, she’s my bestest bestest friend, she’s an Irish Setter, make sure the birds stay out of our yard. And of course we tell everybody when there’s a rabbit out front or the Poufy dog is walking by. Rose does that mostly by barking.

Nothing to complain about with our pack. Except maybe, well I don’t like getting my nails clipped. I saw this thing on TV. yeah I watch TV. I like the cooking shows the best and then NFL football. Anyways I saw this thingie on TV called pedipaw Anyways. It looked pretty cool. Not a clipper but it went round and round and filed the nails. The canine they were using the pedi paws looked like he was having fun. I bet he got treats afterward too.

Now if I could just dial the phone, I already know where the credit cards are.

We had breakfast and then the little one gave us some of her bacon. And she gave me a strawberry. I love strawberries. Kate doesn’t so much. We all went to the dog park. That was kinda funny in the car because Kate and I have harnesses that get attached to the seat belts and the little one has a special seat for the car. It got put in the middle of Kate and me. She has a harness in the seat too. So we were all strapped in.

When we got to the dog park it was still cool. So we ran and ran and ran. The little one, me, and Kate.

Me and Kate have decided to keep the little one. She can come back anytime.

I go for a walk in the morning with Rose and Kate after breakfast. Kate is the one sitting next to me in the photo. We go for a long walk.  Rose has long legs so it’s easy for her. I have short legs so I have to work harder, but it’s okay.

First Rose gets off her chair and rubs against the bed.  Then she puts her head on Brian’s pillow.  If that doesn’t work she gets on the bed and puts her paw on Brian’s head.

My job is to jump off the bed, jump on the bed, jump off the bed, jump on the bed. Then I’ll take my paw and gently tap one of them on the arm. Off the bed and shake my head so the collar tags rattle,then jump on the bed and off the bed, jump on the bed then jump off the bed.

Rose keeps bumping the bed on the sides. It always works and then it’s breakfast time.

But that’s not the only reason I like football.  Kate runs around like a lunatic barking and barking and barking when Green Bay scores or looks like they’re going to score. That’s okay with me because then nobody notices I steal the food.

Well okay, one time I knocked the sub sandwich off Brian’s plate onto the floor and he did notice. But he just laughed.  I mean it was a chipotle roast beef sandwich which was spicy.  I had to drink a lot of water.

We tried going to the Splash Park at the Fountains but it’s for kids only.  We didn’t know that.  I mean, for one thing the sign is up really high so we can’t see it. And they were having so much fun.  Anyways.  It’s okay for kids.  But Spike’s Treats Pool Party is better.

We got to meet Bella, she’s a really pretty all black Great Dane Puppy, and Jake or Jacob.  He’s a beige Great Dane puppy.  I know dogs are supposed to be color blind, but we can sense color in other ways.

We got our pawsie’s cooled off in the pools.  If you gotta a dog, you gotta go to Spike’s Treats.  Don’t tell anybody but your canine friend, but they have treats and cookies on  a table right by the front door.  Nobody noticed I took one.
